Tim Vasilakis, Founder and CEO of The Athenian has always loved street market food concepts where you can eat food from all over the world at a good price, but noticed a lack of representation of Greek cuisine. Seeing delivery as the street food of the new age, delivery has always been a big part of their growth process.

The simplicity and authenticity of the menu has always been very well catered for delivery and The Athenian had a proven model, with high-delivery volumes. They wanted to continue to build out their delivery footprint to meet demand during lockdown.
